Film & TV Crowdfunding/Launchpad
A RITESTREAM Studios Initiative
The Film & TV Crowfunding, aka as Launchpad is aimed to start in Q1, 2025.
Details will follow.
But there is already a line-up with Films that want to be funded.
In the AMA November, 19, Riaz Mehta, CEO, informed us that the film “Identity Flip” with Al Sapienza is still in the planning to be launched on our platform.
The $RITE team is still very eager to launch the Crowdfunding platform and in the market there is lots of interest.
Joseph Khan, mentioned in the Battle Call Ready AMA on November 8, that some “big” producers want to fund their (next) film with budgets between $10M -$30M.
The first Film and/or TV Show crowdfunding will have a lower (crowd)funding budget, just because the concept should first be tested with smaller budget content… but the market is screaming for disruption and new initiatives.
Matt Damon explains why…
This is why you don’t get movies like Shawshank Redemption, A Few Good Men, and Forrest Gump anymore and why every other film is either Transformers, The Fast and Furious or some Marvel garbage. pic.twitter.com/2cpxZRtYsW

Of course, the RITE team already had a positive start with the (crowd)funding for the CryptoKnights Show via the riteFUND and CK NFT sales.
So, a new NFT crowdfunding sale with allocations and whitelisting based on $RITE should be no problem.
Popcorn Collective and DAO
Part of the crowdfunding process is the new Popcorn Collective community where members may vote on new projects, from green lighting fresh ideas to influencing story lines in ongoing productions. Members decide what is funded, not Hollywood execs. Plus, they will get access to behind-the-scenes content, offering a peek into the creative process and fostering a true connection with the cast and crew.
For now, more details will follow. The idea is either that you can access the Popcorn Collective via monthly subscription payments, and/or via $RITE staking.
Ultimately, the Popcorn Collective should transfer into a DAO.
Tokenomics
Not all details are known yet… but we can certainly expect that $RITE stakers will get higher or exclusive allocations based on the principle the more you stake, the higher the allocations.
Plus there will be a role for the $RITE token with respect to the Popcorn Collective (and later DAO). Either via staking or monthly subscriptions that can be paid with $RITE.
The crowdfunding platform will also generate platform fee income (I expect a 20% platform fee just as for the Streaming platform).
Maybe, this Platform fees has to be paid in $RITE.
But as usual, 5% of the Platform income will be used for $RITE token burns.
That’s it for now… we are just waiting for more information, and first Film/TV show to be launched.
